Company History

MİMAG Energy Inc. was founded in 2001 under the name of MİMAG-SAMKO Energy Technologies Inc.. Trade name of the Company is changed to MİMAG Energy Inc. in April 2011 after the acquisition of whole shares of SAMKO Engineering by MİMAG Construction and Trade Inc.

 

Main objectiveof MİMAG Energy Inc. is to provide all kind of services to the industrialists and investors from project development through commissioning.

 

Since its foundation, MİMAG Energy has conveyed his extensive technological knowledge to many industrialists and investors, while improving his engineering knowledge in building electricity, steam and cogeneration plants in cooperation with many foreign companies.

 

Equipment supply was the core business of the Company at the beginning. Later on, by taking the advantage of wide experience of his parent company MİMAG Construction and Trade Inc. in engineering and construction works of industrial facilities and power plants, MİMAG Energy reached his goal of constructing electricity and/or steam generating plants on turnkey basis.

 

We have experience of cooperating with many manufacturers from different countries, but majority of those companies are from China. Especially, as a result of our productive and comprehensive cooperation with CMEC (China Machinery Engineering Corporation), one of the leading Chinese companies, we brought lots of power plants with fluidized bed technology to our country. Being the oldest Chinese thermal power plant contractor in Turkish energy market, CMEC is in contact with lots of investors for the construction of new coal or gas fired power plants.

 

Turkey's first 2x660 MWe imported coal fired supercritical power plant, built in Zonguldak-Çatalağzı is also one of the projects that we were in cooperation with CMEC.

 

We supplied lots of steam turbine-generators and fossil fired industrial boilers to the local market in cooperation with very well experienced Chinese companies.
